Every year I have plans to make a parakeet calendar and every year I get too busy with other projects. I will focus on the project for this year!

Here's how it works. we'll have 12 different threads, one for each month. Only submit a given photo to ONE month, choose your favorite month to go with it. If you submit a photo you need a LARGE image of it, because calendars are around 8.5 x 11 per photo. A small photo would look really fuzzy.

On Wednesday the 25th we'll start voting, and vote until the 30th. Then whoever has the most votes for each month will be the chosen one! I'll have the calendars on CafePress for NO PROFIT - i.e. they will be the cheapest price CafePress has to offer. I run the forums for charity, and the calendar will be for charity as well.

Oh I didn't say but hopefully it's obvious, you need to own full rights to any image you post. Also for legal reasons there shouldn't be any human people in the photo. I suppose *you* could be in the photo if you wanted to be, since you are the person verifying the rights, but no other person could be in the photo.

It's best not to have any brand names visible (no "Coke can" for example) because that can get into legal trouble if we are then "selling" a calendar (even if it's for no profit).
