Kenny, I am glad your new guy is getting to his food! That is progress. Do as everyone suggests and let him get to know his new home without worrying too much about him being a little keet statue. Your worrying might even be stressing him out! He will come around when he feels safe. It could take weeks or months, as has been said. He is just a small creature in a big new situation, doing the best he can to figure out his life. I don't know anything about the poop you ask about, but looking for signs of molting is great advice.
