I think it's very true Carl, that it's easier to simply say "my way is right, the end! Your way is wrong!" and we see that on all sides of the spectrum. We see it from religious people - and we see it from non-religious people. We see it from Democrats and Republicans.

I loved the movie. We spent the little extra bit to see it in real-3D and I was surprised. Usually I hate 3D because I hate having the stupid glasses over my regular glasses and thus get headaches. I did not with this movie.

The concept of the movie was more interesting than anything to me. Made me wish that it was a book first. An exhaustive, well-developed book. There was just way too many fascinating things in the movie to see on film.

I am hoping that when i get to san diego in the next month or two I can see this film in IMAX 3D. I want to fully experience this while it remains on the large screen. I have a feeling it won't translate that well to home TVs/2D.

I think the day will come that it does, Jilly. And may be already there, but at a price.

I think with the "surround glasses" that project a giant screen inside the glasses that you get a really immersive experience - but yes they cost money. I'm sure sometime soon we will all have those kinds of glasses rather than large pieces of equipment hanging on our walls
