Hello people, has any one read the book series "guardians of Ga Hoole"? If you saw the movie trust me, its way different but its a very good book series, and is my FAVORITE book and/or book series. And as most people would say, the book is way better than movie. in this case the movies title is even different. Its called "LEGEND OF THE GUARDIANS"!! i dont get way they changed it but anyways, this book is about an epic story about 4 owls along with a sister of one of them, who fight to protect the Ga hoole tree and their allie's. People have seen the MOVIE go omg, its so EPIC, witch it is, this is the book im reading, and its very good and i love it. Not to mention its very good to read if your a bird lover. if your interested, id seriously segjest reading it!

I will have to try that owl book. It looked like an interesting movie.

Right now I am reading Meditation for the Love of It, The Logic and Lore of Using Urine to Grow Plants, and Harvest the Rain: Enrich your life by seeing every storm as a resource.

My literature class just finished The Road by Cormick McCarthy. Post-Apocalyptic Literature really isn't my cup of tea, but it was definitely an interesting read. I plan st read Water for Elephants soon, as I hear it is a really good book.

I love books ~ I have thousands of them ~ and I read a lot, but, whenever there is a discussion on books, I feel like an illiterate, because I have rarely looked at the books being discussed

I think that it is because I tend to read non-fiction.

I have recently been reading Richard Dawkins: 'The Greatest Show on Earth' and Steve Jones: 'Almost Like a Whale' and Alice Roberts 'Incredible Human Journey'.

Brilliant!

I read an excerpt from that and it sounded really good!

Another one that caught my eye ~ and which I have bought ~ is 'The Secret Scripture' by Sebastian Barry. I may keep that one for my May holiday

Now reading Life on the Wire, re-reading the last Harry Potter book before the last movie comes out, and a bunch of books about hiking in LA and along the coast.
