thx for the info, i have never bred any parakeets iv owned EVER, but i have a question, how long can a baby not be feed for, i mean how long untill it would feel hungry, i looked up online that you need to feed them every 5-10 minutes, is this true?plz replie, im thinking about breeding them this summer so that if to say for some reason they abandon a chick ill be able to take care of it and know when to feed it

im aware of all the things i need to look out for when breeding my parakeets,but, just a segjestion on the hole nest box thing,do you people think its all right if i line the hole bottom of the nest box with a soft cloth.its just i get worried that the chicks will some how get hurt.i mean will it harm the budgies in any way if i do so?

oh, could someone be so kind to tell me what the "special dance" is? because iv been reading about parakeet beeding latly and when it comes to a "bonded pair" they do this special dance.i think i have an idea what it is but i want to know for sure,lol

OK...if your at this point your not even close to beginning to breed budgies AND SHOULDNT...you are responsible for their lives and well being and obviously you dont know even the smallest thing about it all...and it would be neglience to breed...there is wayyyy tooooo much to learn from just a couple of comments here and there and until you know about the in's and out's of just owning a bird and keeping it well YOU SHOULDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT BREEDING...sorry but im saying LIKE IT IS...
