So,, how many of your righteous friends have complained to you about Lady Gaga's performance on Idol finale?

I've had two so far on the Twitface. What do these people expect? It's Lady Gage. And Madonna before her, and the Beatles before her, and Elvis before them, and Sinatra before him, etc.

Lady GaGa is no different than any other performer who is a great marketing machine.

She has an average voice, like Madonna, and Elvis and average looks like Madonna, Elvis and the Beatles but what they all have in common is the ability to come up with a gimmick and become a great marketing machine and stand out from all the average people in entertainment.

She was in theatre before her new found success and couldn't get noticed. She took her outlandish costumes, her voice and for shock value her he/she looking dancers and is raking in the money.

I will say one thing for Gaga, she is hard working. To learn all the songs and dances in sync with her cast of characters is a hard working person. But.. I still say she is nothing more than a great marketing machine.

Elvis had an amazing voice and was very good looking ~ and he was a pretty good actor, too.

I wouldn't compare him with Lady Gaga.

i dont even think lady gaga is average looking. i think her facial features are quite manly and ugly. shes less than average. a better example would be britney spears, who without makeup on, looks very average. (love her though).

but maybe that also only goes to show you that success doesnt depend on looks more on image, aka marketing, as has been said before.

lady gaga isjust another pointless pop diva, but talentless as she is at least she writes her own songs, which sinatra and elvis never did. i'd hesitate to compare her with the beatles - their white album is one of the great masterpieces of the 20th century. she is just like madonna in that they are both dicks.

Well lady gaga and madonna are 9th cousins so thats probbly why they are so similar.

Siegal I agree with you about Gaga looks. My husband says she wears costumes because she is so butt ugly.

PDM I like Elvis music and in his day he had shock value with his swinging hips on Ed Sullivan show.

You really think he was a good actor? I used to crack up while he was driving his convertible and singing to his girlfriend he never looked at the road. So corny, but in his day chicks liked it.

Where did "lady Gaga is the anti-Christ." come into play? Thus why is this on the "Religious Research" thread. Nevertheless I can hear some sunday morning reject claiming that very thing.
