CeeCee has accepted the cage cover, although I only have it three quarters and I can still see her. She is sitting on her swing. I am having more trouble with the other suggestions. CeeCee seems so happy I don't want to separate them completely. They are in different cages in the same room, but I still let her fly free or else she gets rely frustrated and shreds her perches and knocks over water container. Some threads I read said still give them a healthy diet. I never got her to eat fresh greens although she will eat dried ones. I don't want to remove all nutrition. Also I read give oyster shell, because she lost interest in cuttlebone.

I can't cover her at 7 - today I didn't get home till then! 9 is an improvement.
No nesting materials around or anywhere to put one and definitely no mating.

At least I don't have any thing around to shred or resemble a nest.

Daniellero you still want to feed her a healthy, good diet, just no fresh veggies.

I would continue to try and cover her cage more. They tend to go on high perches at night so you can slowly start to cover the front of her cage by not putting all the way to the bottom. Each night lower it a bit more in front until most if not all of the front is covered too.

I don't think there's any problem in letting her have free fly time, just don't let both out at the same time. Also if she goes on his cage, I'd get her off of it. *Things* could happen between the bars. smile

Ditto to everything pepperandrocky said.
You definitely don't want to remove all nutrition. Just don't offer a wide selection of fresh veggies etc every day because it simulates spring/summer where all those goodies are plentiful which makes for optimal time to raise chicks.

Just leave the cuttlebone available at all times. It's enough as long as she's not laying eggs.
She may have backed off it because she doesn't feel the need for the calcium any longer. If/when she thinks she needs it, she'll go back to it.
