It may sound boring, but I'd actually be curious to see what my parents and other older relatives were like in their younger days. Honestly, I'd love to have a drink with my granddad when he was my age...sounds far more interesting to me than meeting Napoleon or Cleopatra or whoever. I'm not really that fond of famous people, anyway. The few I've met have been cheap tippers.

Oh, I'd also like to go back and make a few choice investments in real estate and the stock markets that would leave me nicely set up when I got back "home" to the present!

you mean like go back a hundred and fifty years or so and put a fence up around a few dozen acres on the santa monica coast?

Or go back 20 years and buy Microsoft and Apple stock.

With a time machine - and presupposing i could return - I'd like to visit the Permian Period. That is just before the Triassic, and exhibited mammalian-like reptiles (the therapsids), a forest canopy of tree ferns and giant dragonflies.

I have a couple of regrets in my life and if I could go back in time and get a re-do I would. Other than that, if I could live my life again in another era, I would live in the settling of the wild west.
