awwwwwwwwwwww hi and welcome...sounds like a perfect match...what a lovely surprise...keets really arent bitters unless you do something to deserve it as they generally HATE being grabbed and held at all unless they have been hand fed...
soooo who was thoughtful enough to know about percy and bring him home??? i suspect there is more to this story giggle so how about sharing it...
is he still a baby with the stripes on his head all the way to his beak??? what color is he...
glad you have a BIG CAGE we all usually make a mistake of getting a cage waaaaaaay too small then need to get a big one...because we find out toys...extra food cups....swing...ladders cuttle bone ...mineral block so on and so forth really add to diminishing the size of the cage when you put all their stuff in one...
just be sure what you give him is safe...some toys can be quite dangerous...like some of the bell toys and toys with chains ...if you want him to really stay bonded to you ..dont have a mirror toy in the cage...
you may want to save this link to your fav's for referencing as it has a full list of safe and non safe things...
