i do want what is best for him, i am working on tameing him, and its going really good, i have it worked out, i put the dogs and cats outside and work with him about 15 mins 4-5 times a day, my room is bird proofed. but i dont let him out of the cage yet, i really do have plenty of time to spend with him, but if i get to busy i will consider finding him a new home, or getting a bigger cage and getting another budgie..im always very carful with my animals, i do understnd something could go wrong, but i doubt it. and i know yall are just trying to help, so thanks

sorry it has been so long, he is doing great, i got another budgie too, both males and are doing great together, the vet just said to buy some vitamin drops to put in his food and water, so i am doing that and the sneezing stopped, i got the other bird after his sneezing stopped, i found another web site that suggests the exact cage i have for a pair of budgies, i guess i made a good choice

glad your bird seems to be doing better for sure but they should be separated as mentioned to others in here till about 8mos when sexes can be determined...you dont want a pair in the same cage this will lead to issues and the sooner you get a cage for each the better ...training will also be MUCH easier with them separated... ...also ALL new birds should be in a separate quarantine cage for minimum of 90days anyway...
