We have just planted flowers, so far.
We have some very colourful tubs of mini pansies ~ I love them!

Our azaleas and clematis are also in blossom. Beautiful!

I am doing all my garden in pots this year. No weeding and less work. I have planted pole beans and cukes with a small trellis, 2 tomatoes, 3 kinds of peppers, kale, parsley, cilantro, 3 kinds of basil, zucchini and lots of flowers. Everything is looking great and already have flowers on my tomatoes.

WOW i love it...i wanted to get beans but the only store i can get too for that stuff...walmart doesnt sell them or peas...the vendors dont get there till 3am in the morning and no one is on at that time to authorize receiving so that went out the window and thats why i decided on red onions...but my gawd i didnt realize there were sooooooooo dang many of those in a bunch and i bought two bunches so ill have red onions alllll over the place if they all come up and they look good...

i also only planted some parsley and i like pot plantings...like you said much easier to monitor and maintain...i got tons of flowers on the tomatoe plant and one pretty good size tomatoe already with a smaller one getting going too ...

always had my flowers ...mostly permanent ones instead of annuals ..i opted out of annuals this year for the veggies instead.

I cannot get over how big my lupine is this year. I just planted it last year!

Noticed today that my perennial herbs are looking good too. My mint, oregano, and lemon balm are out of control.

Illusive next time you go to Walmart get some bean and pea seeds and plant them. They come up real fast and I was there yesterday and they have 10 varieties.

never thought of the seeds believe it or not because usually i dont have luck from seeds so i never give them a thought...when i go to separate or just even transplant thats when i lose anything i do from seed...and well now for this year anyway...ive used up my space what little i had that would get the most sun for any veggie planting...

those lupine are gorgeous omg to die for...might have to transplant them next year or you will lose site of the bath giggle...
