welcome to the forum...many days of joy for your new buddy and you...dont know if its a he or she yet tho for sure...too young to know that? Be sure to just let it get adjusted for TEN days with you both doing no more than feeding refreshing water and slow movements when cleaning the cage...

Hi Mandy, welcome to the forum
Congrats on your new little one. We'd love to see pics once s/he has had a chance to calm down and get used to his surroundings a bit.
Like illusive suggests..let him get used to his new home and family for at least a week or so before you even try touching him.
Just talk to him lots and lots and move very slowly. Tell him what you are doing as you're doing it.

Tip 1. Use a night light so he's not in complete darkness at night
