for those of you who buy this here is a heads up...myself..doh...ive never noticed or even looked to be honest for the LOCATIONS tab at the top of the site when ordering...soooo i just ordered direct and was paying astronomical ship prices for just two ounces of the stuff and called the person who created the formula of herbs to ask why so expensive...after two hours on the phone with this lovely lady and her explaining it was understandable why SHE had to charge that much...but
directed me to the locations tab at the top of different distributors in different states where ship cost are MUCH LOWER...ill now be ordering from one of them and it will cost me under $5 where before it was OVER $9 a very large savings...
so this is just to let you know that information when you go to order next time...its just way too good a product to NOT get but i was going to stop because of the cost ...now i dont have to worry about that any longer...here is the site for the HERBAL SALAD which every bird should be free fed this...and the shelf life is incredable also...a TWO OUNCE order is sufficient for one bird to last a long time...just remember to FREE FEED IT meaning ...put it in a food dish all by itself...when its been sitting for awhile i just generally will then mix it in with the seed mix i use which is organic and i created that many of you feed and refreshen by adding some new to the food cup alone.
http://www.twinbeaksaviary.com/order.htmlsomehow the birds seem to know when these are needed instinctively when feeling a bit off and know just which herbs help them...a lot of whats used is of the medicinal nature to keep them healthy and prevent some diseases from ever happening or if they as mentioned should start to feel off...these can get them back on track...
i highly recommend this as most of you know already...i was prepared to find and buy the separate herbs and make a mix of my own ...this is more convenient however than doing that...i just wish it also had alfalpha in it and talked also with the women about this and the benefits of alfalpha with AGY ... CANDIDA diseases ..
happy shopping and hopefully in the distant future we will see some alfalpha added to it.

p.s.
the seed mix i use is not a manufactures seed ...i dont like all the additives an unnecessary unprounouncable things and food coloring in manufacturers mixes that are all not good for our birds for various reasons so after many years of researching whats what i now make my own seed mix and there is none of those things in it...and i keep it as organic as possible with the seeds and grains etc. used...its best to try to get away from all the junk in most manufactures mixes and now some are even realizing this too and making changes after 25yrs of doing nothing about this.
