its taken this long probably because you have them housed together??? and if so ..they can revert back to how they were...its best to separate...and use VEGGIES ...NOT millet as a treat.

millet is lousy... smile

Nice job linda! Your patience paid off. Now just keep going at their individual paces and someday they'll be sitting on your shoulder.
Didn't you get them from a neighbor or something? How long did the previous owner have them and what kind of life did they have?

hi kksums yes I did get them from a neighbor and they were kept very poorly my neighbor had them for 3-4 years in one small cage and only feed them seed,no veggies and with no out side time at all.now they eat every thing veggies, pellets, seed, greens and of course millet.Bam-Bam doesn't bite but Pebbles does how can I help her with this?I try not to flinch or move when she bites but she bites hard its not nibbles Bam Bam nibbles he does not hurt she does.

linda this is typical of a lot of females...its something we come to learn to accept as just being a female thing...and she will have times when she isnt so bad and times when oh my gosh...like during moults or when her hormone levels change or if you move things around for a new look in her cage giggle...

females are fickle and really dont like to feel intruded upon without it seeming to them like something is threatening their home.....and my gosh...dont move the furniture (in the cage)..they get rather fashion picky to their personal taste. crazy
