activity Mirror

I Bought This Mirror To Put In the Cage To Keep My bird Active. I Purchased the Parakeet 3 weeks ago & Trying to Train It I Know It Takes Time LOTS of TIME smile
Anyway It Seems My Bird Got Too Attached to the Mirror That I can NOT Train it to Feed from My Hand as I Put My Hand With Seeds in the Cage. It seems To Get into The Box of the Mirror. So the only Way it Will Eat Is I have to Remove Mirror Then It Goes Crazy Looking for it
What Do You Recommend I Do

You're going to have to remove the new mirror toy if you want to bond with and train your bird. A bird will get attached to and bond with the birdy in the mirror instead of you. Remove ANY mirrors
I would maybe replace it with some other toy that might spark his interest. He'll miss it at first but will adjust. Spend lots pf time with him, but work slowly. 3 weeks isn't long in keet time. It's normal that he's not at the point of eating from your hand yet.
First get him used to just having your hand in his cage...holding it very still while you talk to him. Don't try to approach him with your hand until he's comfortable with it just resting on a nearby perch for a while.
