I am bewildered by the idea that I live in a land that has become Satan's second home!!!

Good Grief PDM,

People call me paranoid! Enough of this I am going to watch FOX news. . . . Where's that DVD of the Olympics and 1984 is my life in a nutshell HG Wells is Osiris in his own rite so may the Gods bless his work and see his essence rise to the top of the summerland in spring before his reincarnation as Emporer of the world.

Did that sound crazy?? Im not crazy? Am I? crazy

Just Kidding - I did not watch the olympics except for the highlight that I just got through previewing but something is weird about that whole thing. You guys think it's strange that my wife and I do not partake of the TV bit but we really do not. I hate, despise, puke on, abhore,
copied from a bunch of synonyms on the web:
abhor, abominate, allergic to, anathematize, be disgusted with, be hostile to, be loath, be reluctant, be repelled by, be sick of, be sorry, bear a grudge against, can't stand, contemn, curse, deprecate, deride, despise, detest, disapprove, disdain, disfavor, disparage, down on, execrate, feel malice to, have an aversion to, have enough of, have no use for, loathe, look down on, nauseate, not care for, object to, recoil from, scorn, shudder at, shun, spit upon, spurn

television and anything related to it and so does my wife so we don't even have an antenna anymore. I guess the only television show I could really stand to watch is "Everybody loves raymond" or "Three and a half men" but they are ruined by the commercials.

Corporations have ruined TV with the Greed like they have ruined everything else with there advertisements. Like I always say Greed will be the downfall of man through the guise of capitalism. Capitalism is the greatest evil to ever scorn the face of the earth, it enslaves us all and pits father against son, brother against brother so I can see where the illuminatti could be a real organization who manipulates the banks and thus created our modern form of capital exchange which will eventually consume everything we depend on for life killing everything on the planet.

Yes I am crazy. crazy

TV can be a good or bad thing. I love good documentaries.

The Olympic ceremonies were a bit weird, I suppose ~ a mix of history, drama and music ~ but Satanism and Lucifer??? No!

I think that some US church ministers are preaching this, though, and, of course, the followers believe them. Plus there are all the (Illiminati) conspiracy theories.

I don't doubt that the rich and powerful are trying to keep things good for themselves, but that's another matter.

When satellite tv first came around we were told if we subscribed we could watch many channels and have no commercials and many of us did. Some of the shows were low budget talk shows but no commercials. It beat the standard network crap.

Fast forward and everyone has to pay for any tv and no one is commercial free. Now that no signal is available with out the box thing (that does not work very well at all)

My question is this....Why are we all paying for satellite or cable tv when the amount of commercials should pay for it all.

Back in the day we could turn on tv for just the price of electricity to run it, and we got 4-5 local channels. Commercials paid for the production and viewing of the shows. It was free.

Now about the only thing worth while is PBS but they annoy me to death with the pledge drives and begging for money....ugh!

. . . . .and thus says my signature tessboss. My grandfather(my moms father) used to say "The only things free in life - death and love" and he always said them in that order and it used to vex me as to why he said it like that but in the last few years I really do understand. Death is only free for the dead and true unconditional love can only exist during your true time of rest whether you believe in heaven, bliss, summerland or whatever during that time. I would never tell my wife that because I love her so but we have our quarrels and I kind of picture absolute love a time without any differences kind of like when we first got married.

Differences?

commercials do pay for the production and viewing but now with the sophistication of getting a better signal more channels and overall super picture from old air transmission of just using electricity etc...the new form of technology to bring you that better picture is what cost the difference...

old picture that wasnt sharp and clear to a new picture you can see hair on someones face or dandruff on a suit jacket

and then all the adjustments you can now make...and with new movies the advantage of veiwing those fast action shots with no blur including in sports...with very detailed images where its more life like.

I told my wholelistic shopkeepers about this post today, because of a symbol I saw on a book about the Coptics, and they did not respond well to the post. I love them like they are my own parents. They were the ones who helped to reveal my maternal religious priorities to me. The dreams haunted me in constance and it took their guidance and the right people to shake me out of my trance.

They gave me an interesting history lesson to watch, about this very symbology, here:

http://www.williamhenry.net/nationalTreasure1.htm

though it has very little to do with our situation today.

I disagree with your analogy Illusive. We had very few commercials in the old days and now 1/2 hour show is only 16 minutes of actual programming. The people who sell to us during shows pay over the top for commercials to cover the entire production costs of 16 minutes of programming. Even high cost graphics and hd are covered by commercials.

The satellite and cable fees have been paid for 20 times over and now it is just pure greed. The government fell right in line with the greed by making everyone have the crappy little box, or pay large fees.

Do you really think that producing a tv show costs exceed commercials on tv? Now that every household in America spends $50 on average each month, (most pay way more) x 100 million households, or more....do the math, tv should be free for anyone without cable or satellite....oh I forgot you can't have that anymore. We are paying for information and entertainment that has double dipped its way to us, we should not have to pay at all.
