Yes,I TOTTALLY AGREE. breeding is something to be taken seriously. It's just like human reproduction...would you want to do that "just for fun" ? of cource not! This is a VERY serious process...lives are in your hands.
There have been experts on the forum - vets and the like - who have also stated that you should be well-prepared if you intend to breed; otherwise you simply should not do it.
I'm sure that it must be very rewarding to breed new baby chicks, as Lemon & Lime has done, and the advice given is very useful.
You need to be sure that you have enough time, energy and money to see it through. You need to understand what might go wrong and be prepared. You need to know what vet you would call in the event of an emergency and have money available for the fees. You must be sure that others who share your home are happy with the idea.

Exactly PDM, that is what I'm trying to inform others on, so they just don't be careless and make mistakes, that could lead into very disappointing things.... I hope that those who choose this task are indeed ready. and take it seriously.
