Protestants respect democracy and each others individuality.There are many kinds of protestants.I have only written what the majority of protestants agree on,and I mean the vast majority.
There is only one kind of roman catholic.They and thier children do not respect others creativety.

Who do you think you and slim are to suggest closing my thread.There are other people who might have something to say also.
I thought this forum was open to free expression,but it seems to be managed and used by a bunch of wine drinking unreasonable catholic control freaks.

I really think on principle I will not be able to continue participating on a forum of this kind where a moderator inteferes with creative development.You want things to go in the direction you think and terminate AS YOU THINK.
Theres a lot more people who might have somthing interesting to say about this subject.
However because of people like SLIM and PDM ,they will certainly not.
I actually mentioned to a catholic musician I know that PDM changed one of my thread headings,even he was surprised.
But its bad manners to alter other peoples thread titles and close thier threads,so if that is what happens on this forum,then its not conductive with free expression and I will not be able to contribute to this kind of forum on principal.

What you do is beyond the normal boundaries of repect for freedom of expression and its gross impolite. ..but you have similar types like slim to support you,go on then close it,kill it ,terminate it ,change it..Its acceptable to you and your fellow kind.Not my kind.
Then you can go and ban me for some of the not so seeminly to you not so nice bits I wrote above.

This thing goes back to the 1960's. It first serfaced in Liverpool, England. Four musicans were recruited to send the message regarding Marian dogma to the Anglican masses. One of the lines in one of their songs went,

"...Mother Mary comes to me."

I don't know if anyone remembers these guys anymore after all this time. They were called the "Beatles" (an obvious anagram that when re-arranged it meant takeover in Latin). The line is from a song called "Let it be". Title is an obvious attempt to throw people off the trail. Sshhh... < G,D,&R >

I try to be a fair person. In that I'm going to attempt, but because of the complexity of the arguments expect to fail, to summarize what he's trying to express. After so many posts, I know it's a difficult proposition to coalesce the essence into a meaningful few sentences. Nevertheless, I'm going to give it my best shot. Here goes...

The C of E is PROTESTANT!

We don't have confession boxes.

We don't worship Mary.

We don't do the rosary.

I believe in freedom of expression.

I think that there was a good point in the argument, but that it became confused because some of the 'facts' used as 'evidence' turned out not to be completely 'factual'. In such cases, the debate tends to lose itself.

And rudeness cannot be tolerated.

Other than that, I think the subject of whether a Roman Catholic rosary is a suitable gift for the head of the Protetant Church of England, in view of all the hatred and bloodshed that went on in the past, is probably a good subject for discussion.
