I just saw "Howl's Moving Castle" by Hayao Miyazaki... I loved it... but then again i love all of his movies...
bab cool goal I would like to be a DVD coorinator... the people who watch DVs to tell if the subtitles go where they are suposed to and all of the buttons work and got to the right place when pressed and stuff like that... I think it would be cool to get to watch all of the anime...

All the anime that has come out for the states are fairly old, but the one's that cartoon network brings out are still classics. I watch fansubs (subtitles done by anime fans for anime fans) by downloading them through bittorrent. The animes that are coming out in japan right now are just amazing. Bleach is probably the most popular anime out right now, along with naruto. but my most favorite are:

I don't really collect too much anime. I'm more of a Jmusic freak.

There is a really funny anime I fell in love with, but I've only seen the first 3 episodes. I think it's called Yakitate and I believe it's free to download. Has anybody else seen this gem?

I know alot of that stuff is expensive...more than likely she had some help from relatives giving them as gifts after she told them the series she wanted...I myself am a anime fan and am co head of kareoke at Sugoicon for the past two years and have been working for sugoi officially on staff in some capacity for the last three or four years. Sugoi also historically was the first con i ever went to and was totally satisfied with my first impression of a anime con.

My recommendation on a anime you should watch even if you aren't a big fan of the genre, download Transformers Galaxy force from TV nihon, it's what Transformers CYBERTRON SHOULD look like.

also if you're into alot of power rangers stuff but aren't satisfied with the american versions they have completely subtitled the japanese versions of what we know as Power rangers SPD (aka Tokusou sentai dekaranger in japan) and Mystic force (aka Mahou Sentai Magiranger in japan). If you Are a big transformers buff they do have many subtitled versions of series that we may or may not have seen over here on that site...

If you want naruto subbs to download i recommend Dattebayo fansubs...they also do bleach and they keep em pretty current...(although i did get bored with naruto because it's the same general thing over and over...i mean after 180 episodes..seesh..get some closure)

For digimon frontier, sonic x, and megaman axcess downloads search for the tv nihon affiliate Wolf pack productions. they are all subtitled..

Ok i've done promoting where some people might like to get downloads...i don't watch all of these series i just know where to obtain them.

I was wondering, is anime aimed at any particular age-group? What age would fans be?

I love anime. I am currently obbsessed with Naruto and Avatar (if it can be classified as anime) I am also getting into Manga's like death note (has any one heard on Death Note?).

I watch anime rather often, I probably have a collection of about 100+ series (and growing) ^^

I watch anime a lot but I draw them more,
usually i think Manga is better than anime,
although the manga Hunter X Hunter is very bad while the anime is great.....

I recommanded Manga is better....seriously.

Yes, but remeber the animes coem from manga... but I like both... not I love both... I own almost manga as I do anime... I have two booksheels full of manga books...
