I came home from work to find my parakeet is ill. My mother and brother were home but haven't really described what happened. It seems it was flying around just fine and then something happened and my brother carried it back to the cage. It has been shivering on the ground of the cage, i dont know how long. We placed it in a warmer room of the house and turned off the AC. It has tried to move around but its feet are clutched like fists, so it cannot walk very well. My mom has been calling nearby vets that see birds but has not had any luck. any suggestions?

sorry to hear about this especially where they can not describe what happened i suspect the bird had a crash into a window or mirror something severe for sure and does need to get to a vet ...a bird that cannot perch to eat and drink etc is a bird that will not last long so please do get the bird to a AVIAN vet preferably ASAP

i dont understand either why with two there no one saw what happened

welcome to forum just wish it wasnt under these circumstances.
