Lisa has established a new rule, in the interests of clarity, etc.
It covers slang, abbreviations, text-speak, etc:

Thank you for posting that message, PDM!

We all know how challenging it can be to read other people's "shorthand" speech. Imagine how challenging it must be for people who do not speak English well! We want to do our best to help all of our foreign visitors who love their parakeets and need help in being good keet mommies and daddies.
