A considerable number of non-fiction books have been written about the belief that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. Most of those authors say that there is evidence to indicate that the wedding at Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle (turning water into wine), was actually Jesus' own wedding to Mary Magdalene.
It occurs to me that the changing of the water into wine is a potent symbol of the Bloodline lineage created by the married union of Mary and Jesus. As we know, wine at the Last Supper symbolised Christ's blood, so it follows from that idea that wine can also represent Christ's Bloodline.
