Just about every country in the world makes some kind of wine. However, most lands consume all of their own wine locally!

It tends to be the larger, organized wine producing countries that then have the resources and renown to become successful at exporting.

My figures are from 1999 - please let me know if you have later figures. All volumes are in hectoliters.
