Loire French Wine Bottle Labels

France is what many consider the "ultimate" place to grow wine grapes. It was not that long ago that most wine drinkers would solely drink wines which came from France. From the bubbly wines of Champagne to the rich, complex wines of Bordeaux and the delicate elegance of Loire, France is all about location and tradition.

The Loire Valley is a strip of France from the middle western edge to below Paris. This region is best known for Sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc and Cabernet Franc, with wineries nestled down against the Loire River. The two wine types most recognize from this region are Sancerre and Vouvray.

I took all of these photos myself from bottles I was drinking.
