Cork Ornaments Instructions - Horse
This Horse cork ornament was made with a cork I found which happened to have an image of a horse on it! It's great fun to sort through your cork collection to determine which corks are absolutely perfect for making an ornament with.
To make this Horse cork ornament, we first drilled vertically through the cork with a drill, using a 7/64ths bit. I used a toothpick to clear out the hole. Then I put a length of thin wire through it, leaving excess on each side of the cork. I strung on beads which were bright, cheerful, like the fun of riding a horse. I added a bright Fleur de Lis at the bottom. On the top I used a gold earring hook for the hanging part.
