Cork Ornaments Instructions - Wings
This Wings cork ornament was made with a cork I found which had a lovely Native American style image of wings coming out from a compass wheel. It's great fun to sort through your cork collection to determine which corks are absolutely perfect for making an ornament with.
To make this Wings cork ornament, we first drilled vertically through the cork with a drill, using a 7/64ths bit. I used a toothpick to clear out the hole. Then I put a length of thin wire through it, leaving excess on each side of the cork. I used blue pottery beads to continue the Native American theme. On the top I used a gold earring hook for the hanging part.
