I admit that I was hesitant at first. Herbs that go with wine, being sold as a set? Don't all herbs go with wine in one way or another? I love to grow herbs on my windowsill and figured I'd give this set a try.

What a delight when I got my package in! The metal tin the set comes in is very sturdy, and the individually packaged smaller metal tins with clear tops let you see all the various seeds while keeping them fresh. I'm sure I'll find LOTS of uses for these! There are wooden stakes to mark your herbs.

Not only that, but there are circular recipe cards (that fit neatly in the tin) for Greek Salad, Asian Fish, Basil Mozarella and more. There's a fold out brochure that talks about each herb in the set, how to plant it and care for it, what it is good for and what wines work best with it.
