Wine Bottle Wrap with Bows

Wine bottle wraps are VERY easy to make and do not require a sewing machine. There is actually very little sewing involved.

First, get a block of fabric about 12" by 14". The 12" height is to wrap up to the neck of the bottle, while the 14" length will let you wrap around the bottle easily.

Fold the fabric in half with the "nice side" on the inside. Sew shut the bottom and long side of the wrap. It's good to cut a little dart in the corner, so that when you fold it inside, the corner bit can fold in properly.

Turn the fabric right side out. Fold over the top and cut a pretty line with pinking shears. Now decorate with fabric paints. Silver and gold paints on a blue or black base fabric look quite lovely!
