Back in the 1800s, Missouri was THE location for wine in the US. They churned out wine by the barrel and were known throughout the US as a quality producer. However, after prohibition hit, they faded from the limelight. Few have even tried a Missouri wine in modern times. It's worth a visit and a sip!
