There are two types of alcohols that are typically made from honey. The first is mead, which is sort of a "honey wine". This alcoholic beverage has wine as its basis and is classic in medieval England. The other honey drink is a honey liqueur, which for example is created in Germany. These honey drinks are the basis for these sangria recipes!
