Monk's Retreat Sangria Recipe
Monks were often the last stand to preserve knowledge as darkness fell. They would preserve stories, research, and literature for future generations. Frangelico is a great liqueur from Italian monks and the bottle even looks like a monk with a rope around his waist. Chartreuse is a delightful herbal liqueur created by monks in Italy. Add in some raspberries for delight, and you have a taste to savor on your personal retreat!
Ingredients
1/2oz Frangelico
1oz Chartreuse
raspberries
1 glass white wine
Put the Chartreuse and Frangelico into a glass. Toss in raspberries to add texture. Fill with white wine.
Toast to relaxation!
If you keep frozen raspberries in the freezer, they can act as natural ice cubes on a hot summer's day.
To make a party mix of this, simply multiply all items by four. There tends to be about four glasses of wine in a bottle.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
