Summertime Non-Alcoholic Sangria Punch
Sangria traditionally has wine in it, but this is a non-alcoholic version which is perfect for kids and non drinkers. It's easy to make and delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 can Hi-C
1 orange, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1 pear, chopped
4 strawberries, chopped
Choose whatever flavor of Hi-C you enjoy the most. Prepare a large bowl or pitcher and put the Hi-C into that pitcher. Add in the orange, apple, pear and strawberries. Let them soak in the fridge for a few hours, or overnight if you can. This gives the best flavor if the ingredients can all sit for a while.
Serve over ice, and enjoy! If you have some extra fruit, stick them in the freezer and use them as natural ice cubes.
To turn this into a single-glass sangria recipe, a typical assumption is that one can of Hi-C pours out to four large glasses. Divide all ingredients shown by four. If you're making just one glass worth you probably don't want to wait for the overnight soaking. If the mixture doesn't soak, you just won't get as much of the fruit / berry flavors permeating the sangria.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
