White Wine Sangria Recipes
|
While some people equate all sangria with red wine, white wine is very traditional in Spain as well. Red wine can sometimes be heavy for a hot summer's day - while white wine is crisp, fruity and light. Even better, white wine lets you see the delicious fruits in the sangria blend for added visual beauty!
Think about hte flavor combinations when you create your sangria. Sauvignon Blanc is grassy and herbal. Chenin Blanc is appley. Chardonnay can have overtones of melon and butter. Go with your favorite white of course - but if you're adventureous, try different white wines to find the perfect combination for the fruits you are using!

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
