I purchased several bottles of wine a few weeks ago. they are on a wine rack in my kitchen. However it just dawned on me that the temps in my apartment can get up to 80 degrees on occasion(I know,im new to this!).Is my wine ruined?

Wine is a lot more robust than many people think. I doubt your wine is ruined.

Your wine should be OK to drink, but such temperatures are not recommended if you are intending aging wine for a decade or more.

I agree completely. If you intend to drink them soon, I'd probably store them in the fridge rather than on the shelf though. It would be a bit safer
