Renwood 2004 Grandmere Zinfandel is a must-try Zinfandel. Enticing aromas of vanilla, caramel, raspberry, hazelnut, and spices. This is generously flavored wine with ripe fruit, toasted oak, and spice. It has soft tannins and a nice long finish. ($35)

Renwood has a great reputation for producing big, bold California Zinfandel. They have a number of different Zins. All are great; even their Sierra Foothills Zinfandel which sells for only $12.
