I have many different versions of my wine cork trivet instructions online. This set is done with super glue. How well does super glue hold up to other options out there for working with wood, felt and cork? Let's find out!

What do you think, will super glue work on felt?

Well, it worked, but I ran out of super glue - it is not the best solution. You would need a LOT of containers. So I finished up the second and rightmost columns with regular glue. This was taken mid-process, so you can still see the glue on the right, before I finished smoothing it out.

The final results for superglue are in - it just doesn't work well for holding down the corks. The leathercraft glue (which I used on the center and right) was MUCH more solid.

Superglue appears not to be a good choice for these trivets!
