i am looking to blend some ohio varietals with some french hybrids this fall. I want to blend a cab franc with chambourcin and possibly a foch or dechaunac? Anyboy had luck with blending those grapes?

I don't think there are any winemakers with access to those grapes on this board.

I had Cab Franc blended with hybrids in New York -- I don't think they're uncommon because Franc is pretty big in NY.

Chambourcin is a pretty darn good hybrid and I think it'll go well with Franc. Chambourcin can be big and Franc can be a bit thin and green so each should round out the other.

Not so keen on the other two...

Are you growing all these grapes or are you buying?
