Have a 2004 Leonetti Cab and Merlot not sure how it was stored. If it is bad can it be improved some how or is it a goner?

I apologize, I just saw this message.

You can't improve a wine that's been damaged by heat. Whatever has happened to it has happened.

It could easily be quite good. People are still drinking that vintage now from Leonetti. Go ahead and give it a try - you never know! It's part of the adventure.
