Niagara Ontario Wineries

I adore ice wines. Luckily, one of the top ice wine regions of the world is located not too far from me, in St. Catharines, Canada. This is right next to Niagara Falls and right over the New York border. The wineries here create not only amazingly delicious ice wines, but also baco noir and a variety of other wine styles as well. There are a TON of wineries here, so you can easily make a weekend of visiting a few, or even put an entire week into trying to stop by each one.

I have been to the Niagara region twice so far, and am about to head up for my third trip with a wine writer friend, Peter May. I'll be posting a lot of photos and reviews when we return!

Here are the wineries I have visited and written up in the past.

Henry of Pelham Winery
Konzelmann Winery
