New Mexico Wine Shipping Laws
New Mexico might seem to be a desert, but they are famous for their Gruet sparkling wines!
New Mexico is one of the only states left in the US that handles wine shipments in a "reciprocal" status. That is, any state that allows New Mexico to ship to it, New Mexico will allow that state to ship in to it. This means wine lovers have to go state by state to figure out which ones they can order from. Better than nothing, but still a little challenging.
For states that it's legal, residents can get up to 2 cases of wine in a given month from a given winery.
Let me know if you have any fresh information about New Mexico wine shipping laws! If you have recently had wine shipped in to you here, please let me know how smoothly the experience went. Often the laws say one thing, but FedEx and UPS say another!
