OMG soo funny. They're both clinging to the walls staring at each other. Sooo do ya think they LIKE each other or not so much?
Can you even tell yet by their body language and verbals?

Cages look great BTW smile

oh yeah they are liking each other. dante is doing his happy whistles and sophia is chirping very pretty not her annoyed ack ack ack. now they are on the perches side by side talking back and forth. sophia moved to eat for a min and dante started screaming for her. as soon as she came back he was wolf whistling to her.

i had told you before doug passed away. infact i think there is even a thread on it or in a pm to you. we had talked about what had happened, what the vet said and even how sophia has been since his passing. the toy is there. towards the bottom right of dantes cage. that is the toy i was talking about in the description. yeah you cant really see it in the pic. he surely loves it. i just took this pic about an hour ago

I didn't even notice that they were there either. They look so cute.

Just a random question...and No, I'm not getting a cockateil but
could a parakeet and cockateil stay in the same cage with each other?

I'm thinking not, just curious.

kimberly i have heard a few times that it is possible to keep them together. although i personally would never ever do it. just to make things that could go wrong. i would never want to chance that. nor would i ever advise anyone to do it. but then again thats just me.

and your right ahall...ever hear the saying kim ...birds of a feather flock together meaning thier own kind stick together not good to mix species...of any type.

ahall i have so many i talk to there is no way i can keep track of all of them and commit to memory all their birds and what happens...sorry i dont remember you telling me about doug and what happened...

again there is a lot going on with folks IN PRIVATE also with their birds having issues or whatever...my brain is just not the file cabinet it use to be when i was a lot younger.

i try my best to keep up with folks and their questions or concerns but sorry i cant keep up with names and incidents...

im very glad dante took right to the toy...

that is completely understandable. somehow (im guessing someone in my house messed with) a perch fell and he fell with it or he was on the ground and it fell on him.he was a bit dazed. but was fine after a while. well a couple weeks later i found him laying at the bottom of his cage and the next am he died. the vet thinks that he must have suffered some sort of internal bleeding or more likely head trama from the episode. because all tests and exams came back perfectly fine.
