That is really awesome. There are probably so many animals in this world that aren't even discovered yet. I think it is very interesting.

That was really really cool! It makes you wonder how big earth really is! Wouldn't that be so fun just to roam around in that place and see like a different world! It's almost like "King Kong"!!! Like a Different Planet! That is just so interesting!!!!!! laugh laugh laugh Just think! Those animals probably have never been around humans! That is why they are unafraid of them!!!

That is a depressing way to look at it Nikkums, I think we should make a non tourism act so as to it would be illegal to step onto that island without a permit or something, and I think that we should not cut down those trees, make a law against that also!( I'm probably speaking gibberish so if you don't understand what this meant then I would suggest to not try!) I'm living in a dream world ain't I?

I really don't think it's a depressing way to look at it at all, but that's just my feelings on the matter. But then like you said, and I think we all to some extent do this 'live in a dream world'. We'd like to believe our fellow humans wouldn't go in there and upset this new eco system.

In the last year a new pine has been discovered in a remote area of Australia, it's had to be kept secret for the very simple reason that people will go there and try to take samples/cuttings/seeds etc.

The 'supposed' resting place of the final of three Japanese mini subs that came into Sydney Harbour had to be suppressed because of the fear that divers would get there before officials.

Unfortunately this new 'land' is not on an island as such (300,000 hectares) and there's always going to be people who would find that term of 'illegal entry' a magnet to get there and perhaps take one of the animals/birds/plants and try to sell on the black market for their own financial gains.

I'd love to be able to think that a land such as this would be forbidden to anyone but a select few, but as it's in a very wild and somewhat remote area this'll hopefully deter many.
