Connor is exactly right. If they're afraid of your hand being in the cage, leave them be. Just talk to them as often as possible. Sit near the cage and talk, sing a song, recite nursery rhymes...tell them about your day LOL
Move very very slowly around them.
Don't let them out yet until they are finger or perch trained.
How long have you had them? How many?
A little tip...leave a might light on for them at night
Sometimes they have night frights and a night light might help prevent that, or at the very least they can see a little bit so they don't hurt themselves bumping in to things.
