Blush Wine Sangria Recipes

Blush wine comes in and out of flavor like the tides. For a while its delicate fruitiness was much desired by society. Then came the era of "white zinfandel" and some wine snobs turned their nose up at its sweetness. In modern times we accept that all wines have a place to match with certain foods. There is a time for dryness, a time for sweetness, and certainly a time for blush wines to shine.

Blush wines are not necessarily sweet. Yes, they are light pink in color, caused by only a momentary contact with the red skins of the red grapes which make them up. The fruitiness of blush wines make them perfect for pairing with fruit. Whatever your preference - sweet, not-so-sweet - there is a sangria recipe just right for you.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
